Youth Orchestra

Our Youth Orchestra is made up of around 40 young musicians who rehearse term-time on a Wednesday from 16:30-18:30.

The Youth Orchestra aims to provide training to young musicians to open pathways to more advanced music making including through regional-level ensembles such as Grampian Youth Orchestra and national-level ensembles such as the National Youth Orchestra of Scotland. Many of our more advanced Youth Orchestra players have also played with ACO’s main orchestra, a testament to their ability!

The repertoire for our next season will be announced soon!

Applications for 2024-25 are now open.
