In September, ACO formed a Youth Ensemble to give young people playing at a high level a large ensemble to be part of. This produced an excellent debut concert in January, which featured Rutter's Suite for Strings.
We're excited to combine our Youth Ensemble with players of the ACO to perform Sibelius' epic Symphony No. 1. Alongside this, our Youth Ensemble strings will perform Britten's Simple Symphony and Bartok's Romanian Dances with their leader, Charlotte Slater, who is in her final year at school.
