A long time ago in a concert hall not so far away…
After an absence of two years, Aberdeen City Orchestra returns, ready to reclaim the stage and restore balance to the music galaxy.
For too long, the world of classical music has held firm, ruling with tradition and grandeur. But now, a new force rises…
ACO at the Movies Strikes Back!
Yet, all is not well within the orchestra. A great struggle brews between the forces of rhythm and melody. The fearless Jedi Master Mazur, wielder of the legendary violin, fights to bring freedom and expression to the music. But standing in his way is the formidable Darth Tricker, a conductor of immense power, determined to impose his strict tempo upon the orchestra.
Across a thrilling program of legendary film scores and classical masterpieces, the battle rages. From the heroic fanfares of Star Wars and Raiders of the Lost Ark to the dark suspense of Psycho and the sweeping drama of Gone With the Wind, the fate of the orchestra—and the music itself—hangs in the balance.
Will the melodies soar to victory, or will strict tempo rule the day?
Join us for the ultimate showdown on 28th June 2025 at 7:30 PM in the Music Hall, Aberdeen.
The music is strong with this one… Will you answer the call?
